I've had no problems with the WorkForce 600 itself, but Epson's ink prices are too high. It can cost about $60.00 to replace standard capacity ink cartridges, so shop around. (The WorkForce 610 uses the same cartridges.) The scanner is acceptable for my purposes.

I am satisfied with this printer except for one thing, so far. I have printed on magnetic sheets with the previous two printers that I had with no problems. I cannot get this printer to feed the thick sheets. I have looked at the different settings options, but I cannot find one that will allow the paper to feed through. I do a lot of crafting and printing on magnetic paper and card stock. I am going to do some research to find out if there is a way to print the thicker papers. If anyone can tell me if it can be done, and how, I would appreciate it.

I personally think this is worth it for $[...] bucks, Bought it new on sale!!! Many great features!! and what i love most is the wireless feature. I can print from anywhere in the house. The only con about this printer is that it's so loud ... scared the crap out of me when it's late @ night and I decided to print something. Highly recommend this but don't spend more than $[...]- So get it when it's on sale ;)

I will keep this short and recommend this for a home or small business. Once set up everything has worked flawless. I have used this machine with 3 different Internet providers and only one of them had a problem with set up. A quick Internet search located a small file to be downloaded from that Internet providers website to allow access through the gateway/router. Other than that isolated incident the wireless functions great in the different rooms of my home.

Loved this printer for the first 10 months! Nice features such as able to scan to PDF, download photos to desktop, etc... Then had a problem with alignment and quality even after cleaning printer heads and such. Epson gives 1 year warranty, so we called (customer service we dealt with was always in India, strike against Epson), and they sent a replacement. Turns out to be a refurbished machine, not new (huge negative points to Epson for not replacing with new). Has the same print quality and alignment problems as our first one. Send the 2nd machine back and request a third. Third one is also refurbished and has the same exact problems! Too busy and annoyed to send it back - as soon as the ink runs out, we're tossing this one and buying another brand! Other major problem areas: if any of the 4 ink cartridges get to a specified low point (black + 3 colors), the printer will not print until that one is replaced. So if a color cartridge is low, it won't allow you to even print black only until replaced, literally freezing the machine. And when we tried to replace just 1 color cartridge, we had all sorts of problems - it wants you to replace all at once. I would not recommend this printer.
