I was really ticked off when I bought this for the 24mm and found out that in video mode the 24mm turns into like 30mm. Very disappointing. But then the problem with the Samsung nv24HD which DOES keep at 24mm is that it only records 25 minutes. WHen will somebody make the perfect ultra wide?

The camera failed a few weeks after I bought it. I sent it to Samsung's authorized warranty service center. They promised to ship it in 5 business days. After 4 weeks, I called, and was told the camera couldn't be repaired and they would ship a new camera in 7 to 14 days. After 2 months, they still haven't shipped anything and their customer service department is no help. They can only e-mail the "exchange dept." to remind them to ship the replacement. Their warranty is worthless and I'll never again buy another Samsung product.

i had for 2 days and put in the box and return it. its crap . bad pictures. all bad ones of kids. i just got a cheap kodak and it does much better job then this one., no more samsung for me.

Quality built camera with great performance. I use it daily for work and I couldn't be happier. I was hesitant as I had a Samsung digital camera a few years back and it shot marginal quality photos. The HZ10w is solid and well built. The 23mm wide angle is stellar.
